5th response

This blog entry is about : Whether the story is realistic or not.

The story didnt really relate to real life in parts because the Billings Girls were very superficial and as far as I know, real girls aren't THAT mean. Girls in real life can be mean and gossip and actually be very cruel but they aren't as heartless as the characters in the book are. Another way that it was unrealistic was that all of a suddon Thomas really liked Reed. It seemed unrealistic because in real life a guy doesnt usually like a girl all of a suddon, it usually takes time. It seemed like the author was trying too hard to make love at first sight and made their love seem too perfect.

In other ways the story is realistic. It takes place at a school, with kids and teachers. It is realistic because the characters say things and (to the most part) do things that real kids their age would say and do. That would be how the story is realistic.

That's it!
