Hello Again
This blog post is going to be about.... My favorite character in the novel :)



One of my favorite characters in the novel is... Noelle Lange.

She is the prettiest and also the meanest of the Billings Girls. At first I really hated Noelle's character. She was very mean to everybody, including Reed and Thomas. I didn't like how rude and mean she was but I realize that she is what kept this story interesting and entertaining. Despite the fact that she was mean, she was very sarcastic and came up with funny, (and mean) nicknames for people. For example, the way that she met Reed was when Ariana saw her looking through her window at them. She came up with the nickname "Glass-licker" for Reed for watching them that night. This nickname stuck to Reed and the Billings Girls called her by that name very often in the novel. It was funny when Noelle called her that because she always had something sarcastic to go along with it. Another reason that I began to like Noelle was because when Thomas was drunk and pushed Reed to the ground Noelle and Ariana were suddenly very nice to her and helped her get back to her room. It shows that deep down Noelle is actually a nice person, she just doesn't show it.

That is why Noelle is one of my favorite characters in the novel Private.
